He further emphasized that the gesture was entirely unintentional, occurring amid the elation following the team’s final touchdown. “I just showed the incorrect digit,” he noted. “It was accidentally done. This is sincere. Should you call it unplanned, you can. But it got resolved rapidly.”

This incident isn’t the initial instance an NFL owner has been penalized for inappropriate behavior. Previous cases involve:
